ARO Cyberknife Bunker

While looking to install New Zealand’s first ever Cyberknife machine into one of their existing Radiation bunkers, ARO decided they needed a fresh look to compliment the cutting-edge technology. The finished design needed to be contemporary while still making their patients feel at home. Due to the purpose of the bunker, the space needed to be highly functional to meet the operational needs of the Radiation Oncologists working in the space.

To deliver on this, Focusplan went to great lengths to better understand the medical team and their needs. This resulted in a clean, relaxing design which not only highlighted the technology, but also created a welcoming space for patients to be treated in.

The coloured strip lighting throughout the space gives atmosphere along with embellishing the stunning ceiling and paneling details.
