Focusplan was honoured to design and deliver Manawatu’s first permanent PET CT scanner for Canopy Imaging, nestled within the Aorangi Specialist Centre in Palmerston North. Manawatu patients no longer need to travel out of the region for treatment – this facility brings world-class care right to their doorstep.
Included within the facility is a PET CT, four Uptake Rooms, a Hot Lab, and a Post Recovery room.
Designed with the patient and staff experience at the forefront, every space within the building has been carefully crafted to make patients comfortable and relaxed, while adhering to the clinical requirements of a Molecular Imaging facility. Rich, woven textures set against a calm, light-coloured green palette offer a quiet nod to Canopy Imaging’s leaf branding, bringing warmth and natural feel into the corridor.
