Canopy Imaging Pinehill

As part of our ongoing collaboration with Canopy Healthcare, Focusplan completed another fitout for Canopy Imaging in Pinehill, Auckland. Canopy Imaging is a leading medical imaging provider in the North Island offering world-class technology, clinical care and patient experience.

Located conveniently alongside Auckland Breast Centre and Shorecare Urgent Care, this facility includes a spacious reception and waiting area, an X-Ray room, two Ultrasound scanning rooms, a consulting room, as well as large administration and staff areas.

Focusplan worked constructively with Canopy Imaging on this project, offering schedule flexibility to meet their requirements. This meant splitting the build into two stages to ensure the X-Ray section of the clinic was fully operational at the time of Shorecare’s opening date.

In collaboration with Pilkington6 Design, calming and biophilic finishes, such as timbers and textural green wallcoverings were used throughout the space to create a soft and calming atmosphere for patients. Care was taken to ensure a seamless flow for patients between the Shorecare and Canopy Imaging tenancies to give patients fast and easy access to X-Ray services. Lighting also played a key role in the facility, with dimmable lights and pendants added to create an optimal working environment for staff.
